quote 21 Sep
God created us and in the same way you birth a child, knowing full well, that they’ll get hurt, that they’ll go through pain, suffering, hardships. You birth them because you want to take care of them and love them, even though they might grow up to hate you, and they might disrespect you. You make them out of hope for something greater. You make them for the chance and opportunity to succeed and to be successful. You make them so that someday they can have kids and look back and say, “I understand it now.

You can be stuck anywhere, but you can’t blame the location. Suburbs are just a state of mind.

It’s been a while since I posted… Like a lot of other people. *cough cough*

Anyway.

I was gonna go away for a leadership training thing this weekend, but this last week I’ve had a sinus infection, which is not fun. I’m sitting in class right now, and while I’m better, my head is still AAAAAHHHHHH. Also, this weekend my sister’s coming home, and that wouldn’t e fun to miss. (OK so it’s not fun to miss the leadership thing either, so many awesome people from all over are gonna be there!)

I got my payment from the lady I took kids’ photos for though - I’m suddenly very rich! :D

I guess that’s all. I’m praying about doing an exchange year next year, but I s’pose I’m just being unrealistic as usual. Time will tell.

Anyway, I’m off to figure out how I’m gonna get MSN to work with this stupid school net. Byesies.

quote 15 Sep
Have you ever been to a circus and seen an elephant chained to a stake in the ground? Why doesn’t he break free? Because as a young elephant he was tied to a tree. And try as he could, he couldn’t break free. Now the thought is ingrained that he cannot break free. How true that is of you and me who have ingrained thought patterns in our lives. We say, “I am chained to this habit and I can’t break free.” Or we say, “I’m not good enough.” All kinds of lies keep us in bondage. But truth is what God says, not what we think.

I didn’t do my German home work.. I didn’t know what to do, because it was written in German.
